Edit your comic

The Editor displays a page from your comic in the middle of the screen. Along the top of the screen is the toolbar and at the bottom is the element well, from which you can add balloons, captions, lettering, and panels to your comic.

Adding images to panels:

Comic Life displays a photo button in the center of each empty panel. To add a photo to the panel, tap the photo button to show the image picker. Select an image and it is positioned and sized to fit the panel. If you do not wish to add a photo, tap the background to dismiss the window.

Laying out elements:

To work with an element on the page, select the element by tapping it. To move an element, touch its center and drag it around the page. To resize an element, drag one of its handles. To add more elements, drag them off the element well and drop them where you want on the page.

Editing text:

New text elements (balloons, captions and lettering) automatically show the keyboard for text entry when they are first added to a page. Enter the text you'd like and then tap outside of the element to save your changes.

To edit the text of an existing element, double tap it. The keyboard appears when text is selected.
